Sus intereses académicos y de investigación se centran en las relaciones que se establecen entre las personas y la cultura del diseño que consumen.

Algunos puntos cruciales son la estética, la calidad, las formas de experimentar y apropiar, y cómo estos elementos guían al diseñador en la creación de artefactos para el entorno artificial en un mundo contemporáneo.

 

Francisco Chavarría Buenrostro, diseñador industrial, maestrante en Ciencias de la Arquitectura por la Universidad de Guadalajara, en México.

Investigación centrada en la historia del diseño moderno en Guadalajara. Desarrollo de mobiliario y objetos diseñados por arquitectos, decoradoras y artesanos durante el movimiento moderno.

Participación en el IV Congreso Iberoamericano de Historia del Mueble Conexiones II, en la Ciudad de México. Y conferencias a nivel local en la ciudad de Guadalajara.

Dr. Maria Antonieta Benavente Aninat, full professor of the Department of Anthropology of the University of Chile.

Archaeologist, PhD in Art History from the University of Oviedo.

Teacher and researcher in the areas of Anthropology of Death and Historical and Industrial Archeology in Chile and America. 

Evaluadora de Tesis Doctorado en Ciencias Sociales e Historia del Arte. Actualmente es miembro titular de las comisiones superiores de calificación y evaluación de la Universidad de Chile.

Gladys Noemí Arana López, tenured professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Yucatán.

Dr. in Architecture from the San Nicolás de Hidalgo University. 

Member of the National System of CONACYT Researchers. Responsible Leader for the BMW Foundation Herbert Quant. Specialized in urban planning and architecture, understanding of the interior space of the house from life
daily life, mentalities and gender, 1870 and 1940.

Dr. Ayman Mohamed Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Egyptology in the Department of Archeology, Damanhour University, Egypt.

PhD in Art History from the University of Oviedo (Erasmus Mundus 2015) and postdoctoral visiting fellow of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education with the University of Oviedo. 

Research and teaching focused on the history, art, religion, architecture and language (hieroglyphic writing) of Ancient Egypt. 

Former director of the Archaeological Museum of the University. 

Premio a la “Excelencia Académica para Arqueólogos jóvenes” de la Unión General de Arqueólogos Árabes.

Dr. Fátima Pombo is Associate Professor with Aggregation in Design at the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
 
She was also a visiting professor at KU Leuven in the Department of Architecture for several years.
 
She is a senior researcher at the UA's ID+ Institute of Design, Media and Culture, coordinator of the Oikos-Design for Ecosystemic Spaces research group and director of the Master's Degree in Product Engineering and Design.
 
His current research interests focus on sustainable design, interior design, product design, and phenomenology.
 
Member of several juries and examination committees in Portugal and abroad, such as iF Design Award Promoted by Germany.

Rodrigo Gutiérrez Viñuales, Professor of Art History at the University of Granada.

Corresponding member of the National Academy of History (Argentina).

His main line of research is Contemporary Art in Latin America.

He has curated several exhibitions and published nearly 300 studies on these topics, including books, chapters, and articles.

He has taught courses in numerous public and private institutions in Spain, Italy, France, Morocco, the United States, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

 

Francesca Capano, researcher and professor of History of Architecture (ICAR/18) in the Department of Architecture of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.

PhD in History and Criticism of Architecture. Since 2022 he collaborates with the Centro Interdipartimentale di ricerca sull’Iconografia della città europea – CIRICE del Ateneo Federiciano. He teaches History of Architecture in various courses and subjects since 2002.

He has participated in various national and international conferences, such as AISU and CIRICe. He has published various book chapters and articles and three monographs.
